GALVANISED STEEL AND WIRE MESH HUMAN SCULPTURE WITH VIDEO PROJECTION

Untouchable is a human-scale multimedia sculpture that prototypes the visual representation of Inverse electrocardiography, a electrical cardiac mapping technology used in the diagnosis of heart-attack. The work seeks to question our relationship and emotional responsibility to our corporeal existence. It deals with themes of mortality, impermanence and the unseen.

Supported by Visual Artists Ireland and Digital Arts Studios.
